    of interventions and alternative ways of pursuing health care reform is crucial if we are to make the right choice in the months ahead.

    This is why all options for health care reform be analyzed before proceeding with change of significance.

    An option that I have not seen analyzed well here or in other locales is the idea of pursuing multicentric reforms, i.e. pursuing single payer in California while adopting an Obamaesque plan in the Northeast and a Republican model elsewhere.

    I realize this comment isn't right on point, but the discussion of evaluation tools set my mind awandering...
