When "Amnesty International" has a total of two diaries, one of which focuses on, of all things in the entire world, a months old incursion by Israel into Gaza, one is tempted to respond to said diary with a recipe, like this:

    I believe you misunderstand.

Specifically, you understate the issue. You write: a months old incursion by Israel into Gaza,

You overlook the killing of more than 1200 people, most of them civilian women and children by Israeli military.

Now if you continue to believe that deserves mocking with a copied recipe, I believe you need to examine your conscience for leaks because it seems you are entirely lacking in morals and human values.

Can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen. CANNONBALL!

That is the substance of the comments to which you link-- that other regional regimes are worse human rights abusers than the Israeli government and they don't receive nearly as much ink as the crimes of the Israeli government.

Wantonly killing more than a thousand people and you want to argue the "everybody does it" defense?

        Go to Jail.

Your comments reflect an amoral attitude, and if you don't understand what that means, it is this:

        without moral standards or principles.

        •  Its wrong of you to call those who point out (0+ / 0-)

selective outrage and bias as being amoral.  I won't call it amoral, just wrong.

          •  Wrong doesn't explain why it's wrong (0+ / 0-)

Amoral explains exactly why it's wrong.
