    Check this out. It's hilarious.

As everyone knows, on Thursday the house passed a 90% tax on AIG bonuses. In the one hour debate preceeding the vote, a curious exchange took place between Florida Democrat Kendrik Meek and Texas Republican Louie Gohmert.

Apparently, Meek called Gohmert a bad name (well, his party, really), and Gohmert wouldn't have any of that. So he engaged in a series of bogus parliamentary inquiries (one of the myriad things that members of congress can do to waste time and block the other side's efforts), that just made him look like a fool.

    Here's what Meek said:

I.e. he basically accused Repubs of "wrapping themselves up in the flag" in accusing Dems of abusing the constitution with this tax, which he referred to as "the pot calling the kettle black" because it's Repubs who are always "shredding the constitution".

This was noted parliamentarian Louie Gohmert's thunderous response:

I think he peed his pants and called his mommy afterwards.

He who tills his land shall have plenty of bread, but he who chases fantasies is void of understanding. (Proverbs 12:11)
