    If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics.

    That is where I got the parallel from.

    And true 'mystics" like the Dalai Lama will tell you exactly the same thing.  There is no 'understanding' only perception of what works.

      Otherwise it couldn't be taught. What appears to be very hard is to bring it into some kind of human frame within which it makes sense. So in terms of human experience QM is nonsense but in a purely abstract, non-human frame it is logical and consistent.

      This attempt to mystify science and make it a religion, albeit Zen Buddhism + QM, is illegitimate in my opinion. If you're going to do that you might as well also accept Scientology. That's also "scientific".
