I'm getting real tired of the faux outrage from Congress and the media over the financial crisis.  I hope Obama takes the opportunity this evening to remind the nation that we wouldn't be in this mess if Congress hadn't sold its soul to the financial services industry over the past couple of decades.  The repeal of Glass-Steagall and the passage of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley legislation are the root of the problem, and they are the direct result of the financial sector's multi-million dollar campaign contributions that created the deregulatory environment that we're in.
