    and scanned the dial and there were very few FM stations either.

    The ones that were there sucked.

    There is a station in town that actually advertises that they suck. I guess they pride themselves on it.

    Some kind of canned music, I don't know.

    Maybe it was growing up in Detroit but radio used to be different. There were many more stations and we could even pick some up from Chicago.

      Back when I was a kid radio was interesting, with unique personalities, formats, local music and the like. Like many other facets of our civilization, it's been homogenized beyond recognition and needs to be reclaimed. Sad but true.

      They only call it class warfare when we fight back.
