    to education, healthcare, nutrition, etc. are completely different that artistic talents, intellectual talents, etc.

    Having taught in inner city schools, I can say that there is much talent there that will never be brought to the world, because it was squashed by poverty and lack of access.

    Asking for fairness of access . . . after all, why should corporations own things like mineral, water, soil and other natural resources. Sure. Let them build own other stuff, but not what should belong to the citizens, which are themselves a great resource too often owned by too fierce competition for jobs.

    Harrison Bergeron made it seem that talented people would have to handicap their talents in order to be equal. And in fact, a lot of poor kids talents are handicapped by poverty.

    Give equal access to the basics and let the chips fall where they may as to talents.
