    Well, let's assume for just a second that Dean will be the nominee.

    A few points that could help him in November:

    1. While NH hasn't been trending blue, it has been trending independent/libertarian lately.  The PATRIOT Act certainly doesn't fit itself in line with libertarian, hands-off-government thinking.
    2. Dean has high support among Indepdendents, of which are the largest minority, if not a majority, of NH's registered voters.
    3. Dean's a New Englander.  So's NH.  Favorite son and all that.
    I've never been to NH, although I do have a friend who lives there.  But that's the extent of my knowledge of NH, so correct me if I'm wrong ;-)
