  •  And ALL of them including Bush & Cheney (11+ / 0-)

    not just "Bush administration officials."

Bush & Cheney condoned it. They must be held responsible.

    •  it doesn't feel at all good (8+ / 0-)

Even in the unlikely event that this revelation proves to be the lynchpin that undoes it all, and brings all of them to the justice they so richly deserve, I don't feel at all like I thought I would on their day of reckoning.

      This is awful.

During the campaign, CHANGE was always in caps. I will not settle for small change.

      •  Your feelings do you credit. (8+ / 0-)

        I wish I shared 'em.

My principal emotion through this period is anxiety.  I'm afraid nothing will come of these facts -- no investigation, no prosecution, no conviction, no justice, no more rule of law.  Even now, as big as this story appears to be getting, I wouldn't give you any better than even money that we'll see any of those things.

If it happens, my schadenfreude will be unbounded, I'm afraid.  I'm gonna be like Mme. Dufarge.

I will admit to additional shock and depression at the continuing revelations of just what a sewer these pigs have led this country through in the past eight years.  As recently as six months ago, I'd have sworn it would not be possible for my opinion of the Bush Administration to fall any farther, but it sure has.  These people's evil and stupidity are simply depthless.  The greater will be my joy -- yeah, joy -- at their comeuppance, which I hope will be as harsh as possible.

      •  Of course you feel awful. We all do. It's (7+ / 0-)

stunningly horrifying to see in print what we'd all suspected for a very long time.

The Statue of Liberty is crying, heartbroken at what we have become.
