    speakers is not the same as "speaking as one."  There is no heckler's veto.  Hell, even UNC President recognized that and he is no arch-conservative.

    How about the right of people to hear the speech?  Or does the biggest posse win?

      to dissent-- including shouting down a speaker-- is perfectly legitimate form of protest.

      It supersedes your desire to hear a speaker, yes.

      That's frequently the goal of protests. You seem presume-- wrongly-- that a large or small group of people can not exercise their free speech in a way that drowns out a speaker.

      That's not to say they may not be arrested for some other civil violation-- but that's entirely separate from their Constitutional rights.
