  •  There's another problem here (0+ / 0-)

RJK, Jr.'s quote is typical of those that cannot for the life of them grasp the concept that a lot of people disagree with them and do not share their perspective.

He's a perfect example of what I call ideoligical narcissim - so convinced of their own purity and brilliance that they are unable to comprehend that others might not agree with them, and so all that disagree with them must be corrupt, malicious, and base.

Campaign contributions aren't 'corruption' in any meaningul way - unless it's 'corrupt' to dissent from the RFK, Jr, approved line. If that's the case, well, there's a lovely little country just north of South Korea that RFK, Jr. might find more to his likeing. Best of all, I hear they don't use nearly as much energy as we do here in the U.S.!

    •  Well, no disagreement there. (0+ / 0-)

I have a hard time taking RFK, Jr. too seriously after his campaign against vaccines.  That might be narrow-minded of me, but it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I wonder about how easily he jumps to poorly-arrived conclusions.  But I also have an issue with the diary's inaccurate presentation of the facts, especially since it's a complaint about that very thing.
