      You are an expert in this field and I appreciate your valuable input. Sadly, your wake up calls do get diluted when other people are screaming at the top of their lungs about the hazards of eating Peanut Butter, Spinach, traveling to Aruba, going on Craig's List, etc. The people that live in a constant state of fear are the true Darwin Award winners.

      I think that, as the skeptics we are, are just trying to put this into perspective and get a real sense of what we are dealing with here. Skeptical does not mean dismissive. You are the expert, we are not. We've all been through this drill before, and I pray that it is a drill this time also. No one is discounting the import of this topic or its implications. It is just that we are constantly bombarded by end of the world scenarios and a critical approach helps us grasp the severity of the situation.
