    "discussing" this for years. He's an internist, btw, and neither an epidemiologist or ID specialist. But he wrote a book. He minimizes everything. There's a time and a place, but now's not the time.

      One way or the other...

      If the goal is to provide information...then all should be provided...

      Other than the standard precautions to wash your hands, stay home when ill etc, there isn't a whole lot the average person can do...

      With consistent reports tendingto the worst possible scenario, it makes any panic worse, and makes people feel ever more helpless...

      I think balance is a good thing...

      btw: I do know you are an MD...but don't know what your specialty is...
