    Believing in democracy (small d) means you want to see Karl's saggy butt in jail. That's a political motivation. It's often called patriotism.

      meaning of 'politically motivated' which seems to give the Repugs carte blanche to lie and cheat and steal which we kinda try to stay above on this side of the aisle, and I'd hate for their to be any confusion about Rove DESERVING to be in jail, unlike the folks in this movie he got locked up.

      Torture: An act... specifically intended to inflict severe physical or mental pain or suffering upon another person within his custody or physical control.
