  •  ummmm, no. (5+ / 0-)

What is interesting though is that people who watched the way the Bush admin manipulated every damn thing to smear opponents still take their word on anything.

    •  good point (0+ / 0-)

However, my issue with Harman is that she is still in the pocket of  anti-FISA types in the security business.

As someone involved in encryption, I don't want a three letter agency showing up in our offices without a warrant, but requiring us to permit wiretapping.

      •  I don't defend her idiotic (2+ / 0-)

        stance on wiretapping.

        •  How about meddling with israeli spy procecution (0+ / 0-)

messing with the justice system is just as serious if Harman is doing it as if Gonzales is doing it.

          •  Again, we have NO IDEA (0+ / 0-)

about what is on the taps. We only have leaks by people who want to shut down a Dem inquiry to torture.

            •  So that is a reason to pretend it did not happen? (0+ / 0-)

Where are the calls to pull this out in the open along with the torture inquiry?

An annon source has said that you are a child molester. He claims that he has video taped evidence, but refuses to say what is on the tape. Said source has a vested interest in shutting you up.

Am I supposed to just ignore that you are a child molester?

              •  It doesn't appear that (0+ / 0-)

Harmon did anything regarding the allegations.  She wasn't charged but not because she did anything to refute or turn aside charges.  It was more that Bushco wanted her vote.  She was a reliable vote for them, but no allegations about her voting a certain way to keep out of trouble seem to be floating around.   Don't forget that other dems have voted to support Bushco and if we put on the tin foil hat we could possibly conclude that all of them were wiretapped and all of them went meekly along because of something damaging.

What I would like to know is why repubs have meekly gone along.  They were supposed to be fiscally conservative.  They were supposed to be the party of less government.  It seems that they really supported phony fiscal prudence with off book financing of the war and no bid contracts and poor government rather than less.

Was everybody wiretapped or was everybody drinking the kool aid or is there something in the water at the capitol?

                  In a word, YES.
                  Everybody is being wiretapped.
A majority in Congress are drinking the Kool Aid.

The only thing which is still up in the air is whether or not these is something, other than Flouride, in the water in DC.
