    You should probably make sure you stay consisyent while in jail.

    If you plan to rob and shoot some guy for $350 and a cell phone...

    True bipartisanship is prosecuting criminals regardless of Party.

      You are allowed to testify in your own defense. The jury decides if you are credible. What if this dude hadn't copped to the crime, but instead told of all the times he thought about shooting someone, all the times he thought about robbing someone, should that be used to impeach his testimony. It seems from this ruling it could be.
