    that Lee was a traitor to the United States? That Bragg doesn't deserve to have a garbage barge, much less a massive army base, named after him?

      then why was no accusation of treason ever lodged against him? Why was he not only not executed for bearing arms against the United States, but allowed to go quietly back home and take up a quiet life as a college president until his death? Lee was a consummate general and a consummate gentleman. I have no problem naming a military installation after him.

      George McClellan, on the other hand, shouldn't have a garbage scow named after him even if he fought for the "right" side.
