Some friends are having their 30th wedding anniversary that day. My plan for 2010 is to do the GLR spring 200k and then the DD in summer after I've had a chance to get some hill work in.

Iowa County is pretty much heaven for biking. I try to ride either out there in the driftless zone of up in the kettle moraine of western Sheboygan County and eastern Fond du Lac County a couple times a month. Hills are my joy. I love the workout going up and the speed going down.

The only challenging terrain in my 200k, Hampshire IL to Byron IL and back, last year was when I missed a turn and went down near some state park on the Rock River, adding 8 miles to my ride for a total of 132 rather than 124.
