    Tips for strategy!

There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not? -Robert F. Kennedy

        I don't blame him.

I can't find a link, but it was on the radio this week:

Utah will refuse $60 of the $80 million for 'expanded unemployment' Stimulus money.  A well kept secret nationally, or so it seems.

Utah is cutting all social service spending by 5% across the board.

They tried to eliminate the Utah Health Department recently, but with the swine flu, are glad they didn't.

In 2006 or 2007, Utah sent a 30 member Legislative/Business Owner delegation to China to stimulate business.  Look for growth in Utah.  I think China already owns a good piece of the copper mine in Salt Lake County, one of the largest businesses here, with huge influence.

Energy Solutions owns a lot of Legislators, or so it seems.  Utah has the honor of receiving low-level nuclear waste to be buried near it's largest population center.  Very nice!

Utah spends one of the lowest per student funding in America.  Huge classes, year round school (on for 9 weeks, off for 3 weeks), and the worst policy is the 40 student classroom, where some come and leave early, and some come/leave later; however, for several hours there are 40 students in the class.  There are practically NO teacher's aids.  And now they have to cut another 5%, and teachers didn't get those promised performance bonuses.  They are paid poorly, have to pay for students supplies out of their pockets, and keep getting the shaft by the Pro-Developer Legislators.

This pro-family state isn't interested in being pro-education, or so it seems.  Very hard to understand.

So, no, I don't blame Huntsman.  Now is a really good time to leave Utah.

All this, and for some reason, Utahns (outside of Democratic Salt Lake) keep electing people who, quite frankly, care more about profits then people.  But, hey, where isn't this true?

Poverty does not mean powerless. Unite!
