    Hard to know exactly, but I see no reason to not take this mother's account as a reliable description of what her son experienced.

    IMO this is not a reliable source regarding the nature of the SERE program.

        If all I know about a piece of testimony is that it is a parent describing second-hand a perceived harm to their child I have some reason to be skeptical of that testimony.  I'm not saying rule it out, just withhold judgment.  In this case, I also have a conflicting report from a close, and personally trusted source.  I thought that was important to share with the community so that people can make their own minds up.

        Passive renunciation is not the whole of wisdom.

          argument, so I think it's off course, and I'm done with it.  Let me just say, I put at least as much credence with the parent of the child as I do to you and your friend.
