    Few men would ever bother to enter into a romantic heterosexual marriage--much less three, as I have done
    Backin the early 70s, Volvo ran a commercial featuring a driver touting a different car. He says, "I've been driving 19 years, and I've owned 12 of these."

    The voiceover says, "If the logic of this argument escapes you, you're ready for a Volvo."

    Finally, the guy onscreen says, "If it wasn't a great car, why would I buy so many of them."

    Sam Schulman uses the same logic as the onscreen guy in that commercial.

    It's quite clear that the only "rule of law" these people care about is one that says you can't lie about your sex life. -Digby
