      It was SO  blatantly activist that the court insisted that its own decision should NOT be used as a precedent!  They were practically confessing, "There are NO actual LEGAL PRINCIPLES being APPLIED here AT ALL (that might be applicable in other cases dealing with similar issues)".  Furthermore, given the majority's usual championing of states' rights, its refusal to defer to the Florida Supreme Court was even less excusable.
