this stupidity wouldn't carry much weight in an informed democracy but we have an illegal talk radio monopoly with 1000 radio stations blasting industry propaganda 24/7.

can't do a whole lot about flat earthers but the industry ability to get the media to keep giving the deniers a place at the table and keep politician deniers working for them depends a lot on the ability of limbaugh and hannity and savage and others to blast those idiot talking points into the brains of tens of millions every day in every community in the country.

that disinformed artificial constituency enables media and politicians from the GOP to the blue dog (limbaugh) dems to obstruct, whether it's based in  intimidation, party loyalty, coal ind contributions or all three.

environmentalist groups might do well to picket and boycott their local limbaugh stations and their local sponsors if they want to send a message to their reps and bring attention to the problem.

if it gets media it might force their reps to side between them and the limbaughs who fill their communities' public airwaves with bullshit (that will cost them mightily in global warming effects) from stations theat are mandated to serve in the public interest.

ignoring the talk radio monopoly continues to be the biggest political blunder in decades
