  •  Oh gosh, I forgot about that...! (0+ / 0-)

    No, I didn't.

When the local bus stops at 7pm, and I want to go into the city for an event, I get off at the Harlem Station on the CTA Blue Line.

Guess what? I gotta walk 2 km to get home, rain, shine or sleet.

    Alternative:

    1. Drive - Parking is obscene in Chicago.
    1. Park and Ride - Parking is still obscene at the car-park near the Cumberland Station.
    1. Bike and Ride - In some civilized countries, that is the norm. And most residential areas are near enough that you can take your bike to the station and then ride.
    1. Stay Home - Well, in the past, a lot of people stayed home.

There are LOTS of alternatives. But the E-Z ones are dropping like flies.

Get used to it. Your nonsense is BS and it is becoming more and more like pure BS.

WE JUST SPENT 30 Billion on GM. And our pockets are still empty. I would rather have invested in rapid transit strategies.

    Ugh. --UB.
