  •  GM's big problem is perception (14+ / 0-)

    of quality.
Japanese cars have been recalled and have fallen in consumer quality surveys as of late.
GM's new Malibu finished ahead of the Toyota Camry on Car and Driver's ten best list this year.

As far as a boycott by wingnuts, I'm fine with conservatives openly showing their disdain for American workers.
Conservatives been hating working people in their own little closed circles for years.
Let them get their hatred out in the open so more middle-ground voters are turned off.

People perceive GM for what it is, and GM cars for what they are.

      You're right, that is "GM's big problem" . . .

      Fake Left, Drive Right . . . not my idea of a Democrat . . .

    •  Toyota has quality problems (0+ / 0-)

it's not the famous quality of the 70's and 80's,but,
Toyota also has a full suite of Hybrids, Honda has a fuel cell vehicle,
both companies have invested hard in hybrids, electronics, and
      forward design.

GM well they are working on the new Camaro.

Look, I'll give GM a fair shot, if I can meet the Execs who approved the
79 Olds Diesel and give him a Nutshot.
