  •  Weather radio went off at 5:49 am in Alexandria (6+ / 0-)

With a severe thunderstorm warning for the entire DC metro region.  It was still raining lightly when I went to the polls at about 8 am, where there were only three other voters on the premises.  This contrasts to last November, when I waited three hours to vote.

In my part of Alexandria, this is the third election since last fall's Presidential--we had a special election in January to fill the delegate seat that Brian Moran vacated when he resigned, Alexandria municipal elections in May, and now the primary.  Talk about voter overload.

We kind of have "Voter Fatigue" in Virginia, and my wife is damn tired of polling outfits calling us during dinner for 6 straight months.
