    The Iran-Iraq was took a very fragile new country, and terrified the living shit out if it, and it was very clear who (Saudi Arabia, US, Italy, so on) was encouraging Iraq to use chemical weapons and bombs against a fledgling country.

    Unfortunately, Ahmadinejad is trying to get foreign press out of Tehran. Once that happens, the crackdown begins on Iranians. I think Setrak could be very much wrong... the future of Khamenei's republic is very much in question, but there's a very good chance it won't collapse this summer.
