I am an avid supporter of MLK, Ghandi, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, among others.

I also support our President Barack Obama.

The difference with me is that I will only support someone to a point. I will not carry them, and I expect them to support me somewhere along the way.

As a Progressive, when am I allowed to be officially and rightfully pissed, and towards whom shall I direct it?

to an extent share your attitude. It's when you call 98% of the Dem caucus DINOs, I disagree. If you don't like them, support their primary opponents. However, I think that you probably won't like these opponents all that much either since they will have similar political views to at least some of the 98% of the Dem caucus. I agree with you that influence of money in politics is too high.

I just don't understand how 59-60 Senators and a Presidential win = a CONservative/Blewdog?moderate coalition and the progressives and liberals are on the outside looking in.

They have hor'deourves and good wine and fire in there. No fair.

          WTF!?

          •  First, Obama likes compromises. Maybe too much. (2+ / 0-)

Second, there is a Dem majority but there is nothing close to progressive majority. What's the size of Progressive Caucus in the House? 71 members. Not even 20% of the House. Also, Obama got some good things done so it's not all doom and gloom. We'll see how things go with health care.

the rule of law comes first and foremost.

I want health care too, but it don't mean a thing if they can make the rules up as they go.

I'm with you though, it is the long haul, I just wished our esteemed Senators would get on board with us, and not want to hold hands with the GOP and their individual benefactors along the way.
