When I think of a gay advocacy group, I think of HRC, the NGLTF and Lamda Legal, for example. Do you feel they are involved in spreading anti-Mormon animus?

Some of the measures mentioned in The American Thinker article (like not tipping Mormon waiters) are unfair and discriminatory and I don't blame you for being upset. It's as offensive as it would be to target all Catholics because the Knights of Columbus donated $1 million to Prop 8.

That does not mean I don't think leaders of both groups and whoever contributed individually should not be held accountable. It makes perfect sense for gays to boycott them, since any money spent in their businesses would presumably be used to fund future anti-gay activities.

happening. The Knights of Columbus is conducting an anti-gay petition drive in Maine, for example.

was blowing off steam, inappropriately yes, but show me one Mormon who was personally affected by Prop 8.  (How the hell would you even know if the waiter serving you was Mormon?)  Even if you could I'd show you millions of LGBT folk and their friends and family who are personally, and egregiously, impacted by that atrocity each and every day.
