    if your anesthesiologist is on the plan. NOT.  I have no idea how they assign them, but its always a billing hassle later. . . .

      I believe my insurance company would consider the use of an Anesthesiologist excessive and only pay for a self-inflicted conk with a rented rubber mallet.

      Years ago (when I had a half-decent plan for a minute) the Anesthesiologist was often a surprise off-plan extra charge.

      I've never been able to figure that out that bit of lunacy.

      Just part of our circus act of a healthcare system, I guess.
