    tate their claws.

    Back when I lived in New Hampshire about ten years ago, there was a little local news story about an elderly lobster that was returned to the sea to live out it's final days in its natural habitat.

    But when they dropped it into the water, the teevee shot clearly showed that they hadn't removed the rubber band from it's one big claw.

    Oh Noes! (I thought) It will starve!

    But maybe not. It might just have dropped off it's claw and grown a new one. Or maybe it was in the process of growing a new one on the other side.

    Whew.
