    and never used. It basically allows narco-trafficking to be counted as a terrorist act and therefore eligible for the death penalty. Never been used though.

    Seems like a relic from the mid-90s when guys like Escobar were running around gunning down Presidential Candidates and blowing up airlines.

    So not made up shit, just hyperbolic shit.

      He said it was on the books.

      That is true.

      He also made the important point that while it remains on the books it can be enforced and if we don't intend to enforce it, why not repeal it.

      This is a good question and one worthy of thoughtful consideration rather than immediate rejection.

      If anything, it was the rejection that was "hyperbolic".
