  •  I'm currently reading the book (4+ / 0-)

and I'm amazed that most of the time, I can beat the cravings and yet I'm still very overweight.  I don't binge, I don't go out of my way to get those foods and I can walk away from them most of the times.

I find when I have a migraine though, forget about it, I crave high fat and high salt foods.

Chronic illness that hinders physical exercise topped with portion sizes that are just a bit too big can make a huge difference, the struggle is immense and it's crippling to my sense of self and my health.

    Very frustrating.

Thanks for stopping by Daily Kos, this is a personal issue that I hope to relate to others and to help with.

that prompted me to jump on this. It has been fun. You have a way with words that draw the reader into your life and build a bond even over the internet. It is a unique talent!

It was wonderful of you to get Dr. Kessler here and answer these questions.  It's a topic close to my heart and it's one we must address in coordination with the fact that we have to talk about our food supply as burden on the planet as well, not just our bodies.

Amazing work and I did see your other diary and was immensely flattered.  Finding my voice again at Daily Kos has been a blessing indeed.

Please help me get to Netroots Nation! Please.
