    Congress needs to revisit Section 5 soon or it's going to be outta here.

    I'd like to see something a bit more dynamic that responds somewhat rapidly to disparities.  I also think a de-listing process that includes a "give them enough rope to hang themselves" mechanism is in order; once a jurisdiction reaches parity and maintains it for a while, give them back the control but have the civil rights division watching their every election move for signs of backsliding, and give the DOJ the authority to step in to halt/cancel any retrograde acts.
