    the people I thought were on congress' side when it came to new leadership.

    wouldn't congress want rallies to show public support.

      not necessarily. Hondurans have an aversion to public demonstration, I think right now they just want calm, at any cost. it makes it look like the coup congress has things under control, which Hondurans will like, unfortunately.

      There have been several. One of them had around 10,000 people, although a lot of them (1-2 thousand) had the same "army reservists defending the constitution" T-shirt.
