I nearly fell over when she actually filed a bill this spring.

All these people excited about her teflonness really confuse me.  Name me one damn thing she's accomplished for the state of Texas while she's been in Senate.

Before you win, you have to fight. Come fight along with us at TexasKaos.

She's never broken an egg, so she has no substantial accomplishments.  She might as well be phoning it in; but she's never had any power except as a reliable Republican vote in the Senate.  She's never done anything consequential.  Sixteen years she's been there, and she's just a vote.

Her specialty is supposedly military/defense issues, and she's sat on several committees and subcommittees.  Her biography says that she
"played a vital role in shaping America's defense policy and fulfilling our nation's promises to our veterans as the former Chairman and now the Ranking Member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and as a member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense."

You can see how well those policies worked:
promises have not been kep to our veterans, and  anything having to do with defense appropriations and "construction" has "contractor" written all over it.

Just what we need in a governor.

We've heard more from her since she decided to retire from the Senate than we've ever heard from her in her 16 years as a member.

"In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican." - H. L. Mencken
