  •  Honestly, my point here was media criticism (0+ / 0-)

I think that her behavior was jaw-droppingly weird, but I don't conclude that it was due from meth.  As I said elsewhere, I think it's more likely that another shoe the size of Argentina is about to drop, and she's freaking out over it, but that's just surmise.  Whatever it was, it was a story -- a legitimate story, and given that she could easily have become President right now an important story about how well the Republicans vetted their candidates -- and the media absolutely disregarded it.

You don't need to know the drug history of the Mat-Su Valley to condemn that failure.

They tortured people to get false confessions to fraudulently justify invasion of Iraq.

It did do the job as media criticism, but the headline pretty well raises the innuendo.

It used to be said that if you show a gun in the first act of a play, you have to have somone shoot it in the second act.   So you've shown the audience a gun.  I suppose the audience (the commentary here) has done a pretty good job of shooting it (amplifying on your point in the comments), but even so, some stuff about Wasilia and meth would be helpful (call it "ammo" if you like:-).

No actual moose were harmed in the making of this comment.

I really did intend to comment on the behavior rather than making an accusation, so explaining how such an accusation would be plausible might be counterproductive!  Anyway, you've convinced me that there's a less illegal chemical explanation....

prescription, which no doubt she would have if she was taking those.

It's just Occam, as with 9/11: never send a conspiracy to do a task that the coincidental convergence of well-known evil interests can perform instead.
