Would love to have it, wondering what date/month it was especially.

    Thanks!

The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth. - H.L. Mencken

Thank you for another incredibly well-written, passionate and moving diary.  I appreciate you sharing the story of your life with Jack, and want you to know how lucky I feel to have stumbled onto your writing.  I'm 54, never married and no kids (but just bought a home with my partner, and we are engaged), and recently dipped a toe into the water by being a Big Brother to a young El Salvadoran boy in my neighborhood.  Not at all like the commitment you've made, of course, but one that I hopes allows me at least a glimmer of understanding of your epxerience.  I don't write much myself, but I do truly appreciate your work, on all fronts.

        You have my highest regard.

All the best to you and yours,

        Martin
