They ignored us. Then they laughed at us. Then they fought us. Then - on July 2nd 2009 - we won! [ht: Mohandas K. Gandhi]

front story for a week, and then DT rewrote and incorporated all the comments and subsequent links etc, it would be  the kick ass bundle o' facts Louisville Slugger we could use..as it is, it's good, excellent even, but it's a shortcomiong of DKos is that all these diaries go flying by, whether it's a developing argument, or a bunch uf bird or cat pics, OND, or whatever,(and yay for them, my faves).
What I mean is sorta in the way some, not all diarists will incorporate comment input as updates, or even rewrite portions to include the good inputs and refute some arguments...but that is sporadic, yet appreciated as an improvement, and a reson to check back on diaries you've reas.

That would be my hope for dkos 4 that some Big Items are left to develop and, subsequent diaries get folded in with them, and a wiki like one place for the digest of it is obvious...tags sorta work in a dkos 2 way, but we could do better somehow....

In this case it would be titled: why the public option/single payer. or something. The diarist should be the best person to advance their own diary, and especially in his/her role as CE/FP writer.

Meteor Blades' project idea may get there....but sounds like a side project, and I'm thinking of something that stays somewhere on the front page for all to reference: congressional staff, NYT, Freeprepublic, Fox,FDL..everybody.

Sorry ezdidit, this was on my mind, and I was thinking that we can do a better job of calculating these, yes, unknown costs/savings than has been done so far...and got carried away.

In 2002, the USFS spent $36 million on its Tongass timber sales program, and rec'd back just $1.2 million from timber companies.

re:  COBRA is that despite paying 100% of the cost yourself, you can only do it for 18 months.  I know because I took dental when I retired and it went poof after 18 months of paying nearly $45 per month.

Of course, I was in need of 2 root canals the year after the coverage thru COBRA ended.

Those who yell do so because their arguments are so weak they can only be supported by massive amounts of hot air. Sue, West Allis, Wisconsin
