    •  here's the A.P. story (none)
recently posted to the SF Chronicle web site:

the headline doesn't mention Dems, but it's in the lead graph:

Ohio third-party candidates file lawsuit seeking recount

      (11-22) 16:55 PST CINCINNATI (AP) --

Two third-party presidential candidates filed a federal lawsuit Monday to force a recount of Ohio ballots, and a spokesman for the state Democratic Party said it intends to join the suit.

The third-party candidates have said they are not interested in overturning President Bush's victory in the state. But they say they are concerned about reports of voting irregularities and believe a recount is necessary to ensure accuracy.

Dan Trevas, spokesman for the Ohio Democratic Party, said the party would join the recount request after the secretary of state certified the results, or sooner if an early recount is ordered by a court.

    •  Recount more solid (none)
The headline might be a little expansive since the national headquarters has not yet echoed it, but it's still pretty impressive as it is:

      "Kerry/Edwards Campaign Joins Ohio Recount."

This is good news for a number of reasons, but particularly because, as has been pointed out on dKos at least several times, if it was only Cobb/Badnarik, they would have had the power to stop the recount.
