    commiserating a bit, both somewhat miffed by the GOP narrative that gripped all the questions from deficit hawks, all about costs. Where was the public option flag planting? The claim staked? Obama was wonky and passive, until he got to the stupidity of the Cambridge police. Then his eyes shot those amazing lightning bolts.

    It was an interesting, kind of disappointed exchange, not bereft of hope though because the President was instructive, in command of the issue, and seemed to have his eye on the road ahead.

    This opportunity won't come again - we're in the moment. I don't pray, but I cross my fingers. And they're pretzels now.

      What were you expecting? Preaching? Call and response? Arm waving a la Rev. Wright? I swear to ghod, the man can't win.
