    Haying started a month ago on the Olympic Peninsula and the fields are crowded with raptors having take-out fast food - it's like peeling off the lid of a can when the hay comes down.  We do have a starling infestation as well and the territory confrontations are deafening. It seems to me that starlings tease and chase the red-tails, but don't ever actually make strikes; it looks as though the starling is just showing off speed and agility like a punk on a bike.
