then "public option" and "co-ops" are bullshit terms.

With his statement that "the Cambridge police acted stupidly," I was done with Obama.

Having seen Gates's ID, Crowley absolutely 'abused his authority.' Strong words for Crowley should have been simple: "Sir, I'm investigating a report of a burglary, and I'm trying to protect YOUR property. I see that you are who you say you are. Here is my card. Please cool down and call me with an apology. Sorry for your trouble."

No cop anywhere should ever have to put up with the insults that Gates threw at him. But Gates was way out of line.

But there's no way that Obama, authoritarian Obama, would ever have said that a cop abused his authority. To say so would introduce his own hypocrisy and his simple lack of moral courage in his continuation of Bush eavesdropping, failure to investigate murder on our watch, failure to expose torture on our watch and each and every court plea that he has made via AG Eric Holder on state secrets.

I am uneasy about him, and I am ashamed I was so naive as to expect that new Progressive majorities in Congress and the Senate, and our first African-American President would fail us so miserably at this health reform inflection point.

The only conclusion that I can come to is that our DC elites are out to reduce our number considerably. It's genocide not to provide public health care, friend - genocide, plain and simple. It's population control.

They ignored us. Then they laughed at us. Then they fought us. Then - on July 2nd 2009 - we won! [ht: Mohandas K. Gandhi]
