    When around colleagues, though, and if I see Albert Pujols on TV, I nominally pay attention to seem at least semi-with it, regarding him.  Of course, virtually everyone in the 'Lou loves Pujols, with very good reason.

      (i.e., in one of the early innings) I asked Rich how they are doing this season, and he said "They're up six" -- I think that means they're in the top of their part of the league.  Rich is my Wikipedia for all things baseball...including cryptic clues in some Saturday NYT crossword puzzles.  He knows his baseball.

        Phillies up 5 games in the NL East.  (Of course, by default, to be "up" in any given division standings is to be 1st.)
