    kind words.  This is a recipe that is hard to get wrong, unless one neglects to brown the meat first.  I can not emphasize enough how important that step is.  You might as well not cook it if you are not willing to take the trouble and time to brown the meat.  Otherwise, almost anything goes.  One thing that I have noticed is that a slight increase in salt might be desirable since the tomatoes, onions, and peppers all have quite a bit of sugar in them and need a little salt to offset it.
