  •  The problem with the Gotcha Game is that it (11+ / 0-)

    introduces an adversarial interaction that interrupts the learning process.  If a teacher has to stop the instruction to confiscate a phone with a 5 minute back-and-forth with the student, then how many other students (especially the ADHD and other special needs students) will then need help getting refocused and back on track?  Is that fair to the teacher and the rest of the other 31 students in the class?
