made up when I was 16 or so. Their stories are so elaborate now I'll probably never write 'em down. Have tried a few times but just didn't like the results.

sister when I was... actually I must've been 15. I filled five or six notebooks and read them aloud to her. But I had the story planned way ahead in my head... most of them were kids, but there was this old guy, and these evil sorta soldier guys, and some demons-- funny thing is, when I was a kid I quickly planned the kids' story till they were grown up, and even elderly and in some cases dead, but now I like their story better as kids.

The fun part is working out the intricacies of relationships-- how people feel about each other is really very strange. I mean we're kinda conflicted about everybody we know.

But they don't actually fit into any stories I'm actually writing, so I kinda use what I've learned from them to inform the stuff characters I'm writing now....

combine Steampunk with the Wodehouse sensibility. A  witty vampire butler to a rather dim but merry Englsh Lord -- he could also be an Elvis Impersonator.

Think Hugh Grant as the Lord and Sean Penn as the butler.
