    Thanks for the post! And I don't know how I have missed those sculptures; I guess I don't walk by the WaPo building very often, if at all. Great analysis!

    I have to admit, I think you're being just a little too generous to the WaPo in your intro, but I totally understand where you're coming from. For me, the WaPo is the newspaper I love to hate. I absolutely refuse to touch the Washington Times or the Washington Examiner (neither of which even count as real newspapers), so I get nearly all my newspaper news from the Washington Post's website.

    I tell you, though, as a daily reader of the WaPo, I was so so so angry when Froomkin was fired. Every time I used to read him I would think, "wow, I can't believe that this guy works for the Washington Post! He's so great at this!" But it couldn't last....

    It came to me in a dream, and then I forgot it in another dream.
