    My wife, age 62, is applying for an individual policy. She's had the normal aches and pains, a variety of health issues over the years. But it's been hard remembering everything she's been treated for or consulted about in past 6 years. She keeps remembering little things she forgot on the original application -- things she talked to a doctor about but received no or only minimal treatment for. Each time she remembers something, we tell them. I'm still scared to death we've forgotten something and they're gonna call us on it if she ever files a claim they actually would have to pay. (That is, if she ever goes above the $3,000 per year deductible, particularly since they're not covering two pre-existing conditions.)

    Also, there aren't any centralized or comprehensive medical records so it's almost impossible to come up with everything.
