  •  Well, (0+ / 0-)

the stethoscopes are used on the skin, mainly the upper back or chest, and I'm not sure how likely it is for the H1N1 virus to lodge there. Far more important are the scopes used to check the throat ("open up and say "AH") as well as the ears and nose, and the doctors I've been to have all used disposable attachments on the scopes that are used once then thrown away.

I'd suggest addressing your concerns to your own doctors and see what they have to say.

Civility is the way of telling someone to go fuck themselves in such a way that the someone agrees it probably is a good idea.

    •  And where does the stethescope (0+ / 0-)

hang, while not in use?  Around the neck of the user, with the bell of the device where?  exactly in the path of a sneeze.   Try it?
ever warm the bell with your hands?  And then examine an eye with the same hands?

Those who hear not the music-think the dancers mad
